Globally, water buffalo livestock farming accounts for approximately 200 million animals; the use of precision livestock farming (PLF) technologies, which are becoming widespread in dairy cattle livestock farming, is explored for water buffalo livestock farming by adapting the system for the use of water buffalo enterprises. In this study, the possibilities of using PLF technologies in water buffaloes are presented by surveying the breeders and by SWOT analysis according to the survey results.

We report one set of the identified molecular markers linked to antler quality in red deer. These markers can be used in the selection procedure to increase the frequency of stags that develop high-quality antlers with elevated probability. Another set of markers has also been introduced that is capable of effective paternity testing.

How actual industrial stocking densities generally affect the slaughter performance and meat quality parameters of hybrid Pekin ducks reared under industrial conditions was examined in this experiment. With the findings of the research it can be concluded that, when actually applied stocking densities rearing hybrid Pekin ducks increase, some slaughter parameters and few meat quality parameters are negatively affected.
